Suspect Injures Sumner Officer During Wild Chase
The chase started Thursday evening with a crash along SR 410 in Bonney Lake.

BONNEY LAKE, WA - An unidentified suspect led Bonney Lake and Sumner police on a wild chase Thursday night, injuring one Sumner officer along the way.
The incident began around 5:30 a.m. along SR 410 near Elhi Rim Road. Police went to the scene on a report of a car in a ditch. When a Bonney Lake officer arrived at the scene, a older 1987 Ford Thunderbird came charging toward him at high speed.
The officer pursued the vehicle westbound along SR 410, eventually heading into Sumner. The Thunderbird driver caused two police cars to crash, which is when the Sumner officer was injured.

Police called off the pursuit when the suspect began driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of SR 512.
The car has heavy front end damage, according to police, and the Washington license plate No. AHK0131. If you see the vehicle, call 911.
