Shooting At Bonney Lake Drug House Leaves Man Wounded
A notorious "problem house" near Prairie Ridge was the scene of a police-involved shooting Tuesday.

BONNEY LAKE, WA - A 34-year-old man was shot and wounded Tuesday by a member of the Pierce County SWAT team at a "problem house" near Prairie Ridge. The man refused to drop a razor blade he was holding, according to police, and was shot once in the leg.
Police went to the home along 206th Avenue Court East around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday to serve a search warrant related to a Puget Sound Auto Theft Task Force investigation. When police arrived, they saw two men on the porch, and one was holding a razor blade.
The suspect was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries after the shooting. The shooting temporarily put the search warrant on hold, but police will execute it as soon as the shooting investigation ends.
