Time is Running Out to Enter Get Fit Bonney Lake

The program is sponsoring a weight-loss challenge to all area residents. Whether or not you will be participating in the Bonney Lake's on Sept. 3, you are still able to enter the weight-loss challenge for free!

To be eligible to win prizes in the weight-loss challenge, you must complete your first weigh-in at either or by Monday, March 14.

Marie Bush, an optician at the Bonney Lake , was inspired to join after she saw the flier in the employee break room

"I need to get in shape," said Bush. "I was really down on myself for not getting in shape when I had more time, before finding my new job at Wal-Mart. I decided I have to do this ... for me!"

Monthly prizes will be awarded as participants work toward the final grand prize of a large piece of workout equipment.

"We are thinking it will probably be a treadmill or elliptical," said , executive director of the . "Wal-Mart is going to donate the prizes and we will also take into consideration what works best for the winner."
