Video: Distracted Driver Smashes Utility Pole In Edgewood
The driver veered off the road, smashing through the utility pole and into a fence.
EDGEWOOD, WA - Edgewood police have released a video to remind you why distracted driving is so dangerous.
The video shows a driver careen his SUV off the road, into a utility pole, and through a homeowner's fence. The driver was headed eastbound along the 11900 block of 18th Street East on Tuesday afternoon when he crossed the road and crashed.
East Pierce fire and Edgewood police responded to the incident. Edgewood police reported that the driver was not injured - but he was driving while distracted.
