There are many stunning views of Mount Rainier around here, but this one is especially amazing.

BONNEY LAKE, WA - There are many stunning views of Mount Rainier around here, but this one is especially amazing. This photo of the week was taken over the summer by Jim Wohlhueter of Bonney Lake. He snapped this photo south of Bonney Lake near Tehaleh.

You might've seen those spaceship-looking clouds hanging out over the mountain before. Those are called lenticular clouds. They are formed when air passes over a large object - like a 14,000-foot volcano - and then drifts up into the atmosphere (kind of like turbulence).
