Was It You? Bonney Lake Police Thank Citizen For Hot Chocolate Delivery
An officer conducting traffic on Monday got a sweet surprise.
BONNEY LAKE, WA - In the middle of the pouring rain, one anonymous person went out of their way to thank a local police officer.
According to Bonney Lake Police, a citizen approached an officer who was directing traffic on a typically wet Northwest Monday and handed them a sweet cup of hot chocolate.
If it was you, they want you to know the gesture was well appreciated.

Many local departments have been in mourning this week after four police officers were shot in four different cities between Sunday and Monday. Law enforcement officials believe two of the shootings - one in St. Louis, the other in San Antonio - targeted officers. The officer involved in the San Antonio shooting was killed.
