WATCH: Police Searching For Dangerous Morotcyclist

AUBURN, WA - Police said a motorcyclist has been endangering the public recently by attempting to lure police officers into a chase on Aurburn Way South near Les Gove Park. The driver struck a K-9 patrol vehicle Wednesday then fled the scene on foot, according to police. The driver lost a firearm in the incident, which may have fallen off the driver during the crash.

The K-9 unit and King County Air Support pursued the suspect but he could not be found. The crash is part of the dangerous driver's pattern of behavior, according to police.

"The actions of this individual have escalated and are becoming very dangerous to the public," Auburn police said.

The motorcycle, a 2006 Suzuki, is now in police custody. The suspect is described as an adult white male, approximately 5’8” – 5’10” and around 170 lbs. Police said the suspect was wearing black gloves, a black and white motorcycle helmet, a black leather jacket with blue and white stripes down the sleeves, gray pants and black shoes with white soles.
