Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Bonney Lake-Sumner Area
The National Weather Service is warning of up to 2 inches of snow by Tuesday morning.

SUMNER, WA - The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the area through 1 p.m. Tuesday due snow and freezing temperatures.
The advisory includes a large swath of the southern Puget Sound area, from Gig Harbor to Hoquiam. Here's what to look out for:
- Snow accumulations of between 1 and 3 inches, with the heaviest snow falling in the Olympia area. Accumulations of between 4 and 5 inches could fall west of the Olympia area, toward Capitol State Forest. Areas north of Tacoma are not expected to get more than 2 inches, but Enumclaw could get up to 3 inches.
- The timing of snowfall will vary, but Pierce and south King County could see the most snowfall between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m. However, snow is expected to begin around 1 a.m. in general.
- The snow should end by early afternoon, and temperatures are not expected to get above 39 degrees on Tuesday.
