Woman's Burned Body Found Along Bonney Lake Road
The woman was found dead along a road in unincorporated Pierce County near Lake Tapps.

BONNEY LAKE, WA - A woman was found dead alongside a Bonney Lake road Tuesday. Pierce County Sheriff's detectives determined that she was killed somewhere else and then dumped near the intersection of 24th Street Court East and 169th Avenue East.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office, the suspects tried to light the body on fire. The victim is a biracial woman in her late 20s or early 30s. Police believe at least two suspects were involved in dumping the body.
The area where the body was found has a Bonney Lake address but in an unincorporated area west of Lake Tapps. The woman was found early Tuesday morning by someone walking along the road.
