2 Separate Stabbings Along Highway 99 Tuesday Night

Snohomish County deputies responded to two separate incidents near each other Tuesday night.

EVERETT, WA - Police responded to two separate stabbings Tuesday night very close to each other along Highway 99 north of Lynnwood. Despite the similarities, police don't think the crimes are connected.

The first stabbing happened around 7 p.m. Tuesday along the 12700 block of Admiralty Way, which is just a few blocks east of Highway 99. The suspect entered an home at the location and was confronted by a person living there. The burglar stabbed the person and then fled on foot. The burglar was later found and arrested.

One hour later and just a few blocks northwest near the intersection of Highway 99 and Airport Road, a woman alerted a Snohomish County Sheriff's sergeant about a fight aboard a bus. Four men were fighting, and one was stabbed. All of the suspects involved in the fight were arrested.
