3 Dead After SUV Slides Under Semi Along Alderwood Mall Parkway
A fourth person was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
LYNNWOOD, WA - Three people died early Wednesday morning after the SUV they were riding in hit a semitrailer and slid underneath. The crash happened around 4 a.m. along Alderwood Mall Parkway near the Fred Meyer north of the mall area.
The SUV, a KIA Sorrento, had four people inside and was traveling northbound along the parkway when it hit the back of the semi and drove partially underneath. The fourth person, a 15-year-old girl, was taken to Harborview Medical Center and was reportedly in stable condition. The parkway between the SR 525 on-ramps and 164th Street Southwest will be closed for several hours Wednesday morning, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.
