4 Girls Assaulted While Walking Along Snohomish Trail; Police Search For Suspect
The girls - who range in age from 8 to 12 - were walking along the Interurban Trail in Snohomish Sunday night when the attack happened.

SNOHOMISH, WA - Police are searching for an adult man in connection to an assault that occurred Sunday night in Snohomish. Four girls ranging in age from 8 to 12 were walking along the Interurban Trail when the suspect approached them, touched one of the girls, and then fled on foot.
The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. Sunday along the trail, which runs from Maple Avenue to Avenue D through a residential area in Snohomish. The attack happened in the vicinity of Avenue A, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff.
The four girls and a witness - a 46-year-old woman who was walking her dog nearby - described the suspect as a white man standing 6 feet tall, weighing 170 to 180 pounds, and with dark brown hair. He was wearing a dark red T-Shirt, black basketball shorts, and a black backpack at the time of the assault, police said.
