70 Women Treated with the MonaLisa Touch laser for Painful Intercourse and Vaginal Dryness - Preliminary Results

After treating more than 70 women with the Monalisa Touch vaginal laser for painful intercourse, vaginal dryness, these are the results.

The MonaLisa TouchTM vaginal laser is a newly FDA approved treatment for menopause symptoms, painful intercourse, vaginal dryness and urinary dysfunction. I began treating both menopausal patients and breast cancer survivors in early 2015. One of the questions I am frequently asked is “What is the success rate”? It is challenging to quantify success as all patients have improvement; it’s a matter of how much improvement. As of October, 2015 I have treated over 70 women with the MonaLisa Touch vaginal laser. What were the results from the MonaLisa Touch vaginal laser treatment?

Twelve patients successfully completed all three treatments with the MonaLisa TouchTM vaginal laser since mid-February. Many more patients are well on their way to restoring their vaginal health. I am pleased to report results have exceeded my expectations and are very much in line with the clinical papers about the MonaLisa TouchTM.

Patients report that the first laser treatment of three has the most significant results occurring within a few days.

After the second MonaLisa TouchTM vaginal laser treatment, over 90% of patients have experienced relief from symptoms including resolution of vaginal dryness and irritation, resolution of painful intercourse, and improved urinary symptoms. Patients also find relief from vulvar dryness symptoms. Intercourse has been more pleasurable and without pain. In the more severe cases I’ve had patients report that it no longer hurts to walk.

Breast cancer survivors, who are growing in numbers due to advances in medicine, can have many side effects caused by chemotherapy. Side effects include menopause symptoms and vaginal dryness. Estrogen induced breast cancer survivors cannot treat vaginal dryness, with traditional care that includes Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). The MonaLisa Touch vaginal laser treatment is hormone free with no side effects.

The breast cancer survivors, who were treated at Integrity Medical Aesthetics with the MonaLisa Touch vaginal laser, have had amazing results and are saying it changed their lives. We have been reaching out to cancer organizations and oncologists to create awareness about this breakthrough technology. Please share this with other women.
