Write on the Sound Looking for 2012 Presenters

2012 version of the popular Edmonds event to be held Oct. 5-7.

Presenter proposals are now being accepted for the presented by the Edmonds Arts Commission.

The two-and-a-half-day conference focusing on the craft of writing will be held October 5-7, 2012, at the in Edmonds. The conference, which has sold out for the past three years, offers more than 30 workshops taught by authors, instructors and trade professionals. Workshops are a mix of how-to/hands-on, genre-based and motivation sessions.

Also included in the weekend is a keynote speaker, a writing contest, manuscript critiques and onsite bookstore.

The conference begins Oct. 5 with a choice of five half-day preconference workshops.

Those interested can send a professional resume that includes information about teaching or presentation experience, works published, if appropriate, and a description of one or more 75- or 90 minute classes for consideration.
