Call for Performers: Hazel Miller Plaza to Debut Concert Series in 2013

Ready to show off your artistic talents?
The Edmonds Arts Commission is looking for performers to provide one-hour shows for a new 2013 series of mini-concerts at the Hazel Miller Plaza at Fifth Avenue South and Maple Street in Edmonds.
Concerts will be held on six Tuesdays, from noon–1 p.m., and on six Thursdays, from 5-6 p.m.

The new plaza is a small outdoor venue with a raised area at one end of the plaza. Performances should be acoustic or with minimal amplification. Noon concerts should be family oriented.
The new concert series is fully funded by the Hazel Miller Foundation.

In order to apply, submit the following materials:
- Letter of interest with name and contact information (phone, mailing address and e-mail)
- Promotional material
- Music samples (CDs should be clearly labeled)

If you have already applied for the Summer Concerts in the Park series and wish to be considered for the Hazel Miller Plaza series, do not send duplicate materials. You should simply notify the commission by e-mail.
Review begins in January. Send all requested materials by Jan. 11. Applicants will be contacted only if they are asked to be on the schedule.
