Yes, we do have an extensive props department at the Driftwood Players, but The Proxy which premiered last weekend at the Festival of Shorts called for a real hospital bed. Terrence Boyd would be groaning and acting while laying on said bed.
Where could we borrow a bed?
That is when Driftwood called the Donor Closet in downtown Edmonds. And the Donor Closet did not hesitate coming to the rescue! They have all kinds of medical equipment and furniture.
We want to THANK the staff of the DONOR CLOSET for their generosity. We returned the bed to them yesterday without incident!
If anyone ever needs medical equipment and wants to avoid the high cost charged by their insurance company, we advise they check out the Donor Closet. It is located just behind the new IGA grocery store on 5th in Edmonds.
