3. First Amtrak Airo passenger trains start Wednesday on Cascades (lynnwoodtimes.com) — New Amtrak Airo trains begin running Wednesday on the Cascades route that stops in Edmonds, bringing more seats, better views, Wi‑Fi, and cleaner engines to local riders. Two trainsets will initially cover four daily trips between Seattle, Vancouver, B.C., and Eugene, with full fleet replacement planned by 2027 and dynamic fares available online or at stations.
