Argosy Christmas Ship Sails From Edmonds Tonight

Those on land can see brightly colored ships and hear Christmas carols.

An annual holiday tradition for 62 years returns to Edmonds tonight when the Argosy Christmas Ship departs from the Edmonds Marina at 7 p.m. At about 7:10, a onboard choir from Everett will give a 20-minute performance broadcast via state-of-the-art speaker system that will be heard by hundreds of people gathered on land.

The ship will then make its way to Richmond Beach Saltwater Park, where it is expected to dock at about 8:20.

Tickets to cruise on the ship, which are by reservation, are sold out. But there are still tickets available for several themed parade boats that will follow the Argosy Christmas Ship.
