Bartell Drugs' Edmonds store hosts "Spring Health & Beauty Event" Friday, May 8 spotlights free mini-makeovers and sampling, appearance of weight loss expert Jonny Bowden, plus special pricing on big line-up of products

Spotlighting healthy and beautiful living, Bartell Drugs celebrates its “Spring Health & Beauty Event,” now through May 9 with in-store festivities and special pricing chain-wide on supplements, cosmetics, soaps and lotions.

Bartell Drugs in Edmonds will be hosting events Friday, May 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., including free make-up “mini-makeovers” featuring products from Maybelline, L’Oreal, CoverGirl and Neutrogena. Conducted by make-up professionals, customers are encouraged to sign up in advance for the 15-minute consultations at www.bartelldrugs.com/our-community/events.

From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., author and weight loss expert Jonny Bowden, PhD, CNS, will be sharing information during free sampling of Real Health Super Foods, including smoothies, raw juices, “super greens” and food toppers. Known as “The Rogue Nutritionist,” Bowden is the best-selling author of 14 books on health, healing, food and longevity.

Other products offered as free samples include Nunn hydration replenishing products and KIND Bars.

Customers will receive a complimentary “goody bag” filled with fun samples of the newest health and beauty products during the scheduled events at each of the ten stores by simply signing up for a “mini-makeover” or stopping by during special event hours.

Celebrating its 125th anniversary, the family-owned drugstore chain adds to the in-store fun with enter-to-win drawings for three $125 Bartell Drugs gift cards at each participating sampling event location.

At all Bartell Drugs locations during the event, customers may enter-to-win a “Spa Trip to Vancouver, B.C.” including round-trip Amtrak transportation for two, deluxe room accommodations at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, and $200 for spa services at the hotel’s Absolute Spa.
