Bellevue Man Arrested After Snohomish County Stabbing
The stabbing occurred during a family dispute in Martha Lake around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

MARTHA LAKE, WA - A 31-year-old man from Bellevue was arrested Monday after a stabbing Sunday night in Martha Lake. The Bellevue man was jailed on a charge of second-degree assault, the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office reported.
Just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a fight near the intersection of 164th Street Southwest and 6th Avenue West in Martha Lake on a report of a fight. When they arrived, they found one man with a stab wound to the abdomen. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, the stabbing happened after members of a family met to discuss a family issue - apparently that one member of the family bailed another member of the family out of jail. The discussion escalated into a fight, which resulted in stabbing.
