Cars Broken Into During Edmonds-Woodway Game Against Meadowdale

The Edmonds PD has some tips to prevent you from becoming a victim.

At least five cars were broken into on Friday in Edmonds-Woodway High School parking lots during the E-W/Meadowdale game, reports the Edmonds Police Department.

All of the "car prowls" occurred between about 7 to 10 p.m, says Edmonds Police Sgt. Mike Blackburn.

  • Avoid parking locations isolated from public view
  • Do not leave any item in plain view inside the vehicle; the fact that an item may not be of value to you does not mean it’s not a temptation to a criminal
  • Lock your vehicle when it’s left unattended
  • Be aware of your vehicle make, model and license number in case police attention is required
