Cause of Edmonds Marina Fire Is Still Undetermined

The cause of a is being listed as undetermined because investigators were not able to pinpoint the exact cause.

According to Leslie Hynes of Snohomish County Fire District 1, , the fire is not being considered suspicious.

"There was some evidence there may have been an electrical problem," said Hynes, "but not enough to allow investigators to say with certainty that this was the cause of the fire."

Two 50-foot boats were destroyed in the fire at the Edmonds Marina P Dock. One boat, the Great Scape, was towed away. The other, Sea for Two, sank. It was later lifted out of the water by floatation devices.

Damage was set at $600,000.
