City Crews Tackling Water Leak at Edmonds Fountain
The work expected to continue through 4 p.m. today.
City of Edmonds Public Works crews are working today to locate and repair an underground water leak at the city's iconic Cedar Dreams Fountain at the heart of downtown, Fifth Avenue and Main Street.
and traced to an area adjacent to the fountain. Repair is scheduled to run through at least 4 p.m. today but could extend longer, according to Public Works director Phil Williams.
During the repair work, pedestrian traffic will not be affected around the intersection, Williams said. Traffic is only east on Main; vehicles must then turn south onto Fifth Avenue South.
