City Switches to New Server, Says Web Site Should be Faster Now

After the City is Edmonds , you may have noticed that moving from one page to the next could be challenging.

In other words, s-l-o-o-o-w.

That should be fixed now.

Stephen Clifton, Edmonds' director
of Community Services and Economic Development, reports that Chief Information Officer Carl Nelson has finished working on updating the City’s Web site to speed up the transitions between Web pages and when opening up the City’s Web site.

Last week, the transisition to a new server was successful and Clifton says users should find that this results in faster service.

The Web site is edmondswa.gov.
