UPDATE: No Action Taken By Council After Closed-Door Meeting

Council members met in private to discuss complaint against public officer or employee, as well as potential litigation.

UPDATE: There was no action taken, that was available for public review, after Tuesday's night executive session.

The Edmonds City Council will be meet behind closed doors for the second week in a row tonight at 7 to receive and evaluate a complaint or charges brought against a public officer or employee, as defined in the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 42.30.110(1)(f). Also on the agenda is RCW 42.30.110(1)(f), which involves potential litigation.

After the executive session, which is not open to the public and is expected to last 45 minutes, the council will reconvene in public session. According to the official agenda, there will then be possible action regarding waiving of attorney-client privilege.

Before the executive session, there will be City Council committe meetings beginning at 6 p.m. The meetings are open to the public but are not public hearings.

There meetings are finance; community services/development services; and public safety and human resources.

All of tonight's meetings will be held in the Edmonds City Council chambers in the Public Safety Complex, 250 Fifth Ave. N., Edmonds.
