Teen Shot Twice In Edmonds During Fight

Edmonds police said the suspected shooters were strangers to the victim.

EDMONDS, WA - A shooting early Saturday morning in Edmonds left one person injured, and police are still looking for the three men who fled the scene in a car.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of 76th Avenue West and 212th Street West behind the Dairy Queen. The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center with injuries described by police as non-life threatening. He was shot in the thigh and buttocks, according to police.

According to police, the three suspects fled the scene in a white Honda. Police noted that the victim and the suspects likely do not know each other. The shooting happened during an altercation between a group of teenagers.
