E-W Black Student Union Presents "Freedom of Expression" on Friday

Seattle Improv group Unexpected Productions also will perform.

The Black Student Union of presents "Freedom of Expression," an evening of diverse performances, Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the Black Box Theatre at .

"Freedom of Expression" showcases students and community members from Snohomish County. Performances vary from song and dance to poetry and live music.

Unlike a talent show, this event is an opportunity for participants to express themselves without judgment.

Closing out the night is Unexpected Productions, Seattle’s longest running improv group, which will present a short skit that encourages audience participation. 

A portion of the night's proceeds benefit the E-W Black Student Union. The event is sponsored by the Snohomish County NAACP, Snohomish County YMCA and Edmonds Community College.

"Freedom of Expression" is Friday at 6:30 at Edmonds Community College, 20000 68th Ave. W, Lynnwood. Tickets are $10 and include light appetizers. Children under 12 free.
