E-W Girls Defeat Defending Champs Auburn-Riverside

Basketball team victorious 52-34 in first game of 4A playoffs.

The Edmonds-Woodway girls basketball team beat defending champs Auburn-Riverside 52-34 today in the opening round of the 4A state playoffs.

That game was held at Jackson High School in Mill Creek.

Duane Hodges' Warriors had lost to the Ravens earlier this season 61-54 in an overtime game during a Nike-sponsored tournament held in Beaverton, OR.
