E-W Wins Wesco 4A South With 42-21 Win Over Kamiak
Warriors are undefeated in conference play.

After the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors football team opened the season with three loses, it looked like it would be a long season. One to forget.
Instead, the Warriors have bounced back with three straight wins, including a 42-21 victory over Kamiak Friday at Edmonds Stadium.
The Warriors' three losses, to Monroe, Marysville-Pilchuck and Meadowdale, may have hurt team morale under coach John Gradwohl. But they did nothing to hurt the team's playoff chances since they were all nonleague games.

With the victory Friday, in fact, the Warriors have clinched their division and are Wesco 4A South champs. The team plays one more conference game, next week at Cascade, then ends the regular season with a noncoference game against Redmond.
So even if E-W loses against Cascade and Wesco 4A Jackson, which also won Friday, wins next week as well, both would finish at 3-1 in league, and E-W has already beaten Jackson this season.
