Edmonds Double-Stabbing Suspect Acted In Self Defense, Jurors Say

The July 9, 2017, stabbing at an Edmonds apartment complex left two men with serious injuries.

EDMONDS, WA - A 26-year-old man accused of stabbing and seriously wounding two men at an Edmonds apartment complex in 2017 has been acquitted of domestic violence assault, according to reports.

Marco Vincente Dominguez was released from the Snohomish County Jail on March 19 after jurors found that he acted in self-defense, according to the Everett Herald.

The double-stabbing happened around 10:40 a.m. on July 9 at the Horizon Park Apartments near the intersection of 208th Street Southwest and 74th Avenue West. At the scene, police found one victim in the parking lot, and another inside an apartment. Both men were taken to Harborview for treatment. One underwent surgery and was in stable condition, the other was in critical condition.

Dominguez ran from the scene and was chased for a short distance by a witness, according to Edmonds police. Dominguez fled to California, where he was later arrested, according to the Herald.
