Edmonds Homicide Victim Identified

The killing happened on Nov. 28 in the Meadowdale neighborhood.

EDMONDS, WA - The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's office has released the identity of a man found shot to death in Meadowdale in November, and has offiially ruled his death a homicide.

Jorge A. Leal-Sanchez, 30, of Everett, was found dead inside his vehicle near 11 p.m. on Nov. 28. Snohomish County Sheriff's deputies discovered Leal-Sanchez after responding to a call of shots fired along the 15900 block of 56th Avenue West. While technically in an unincorporated area of Snohomish County, the address where Leal-Sanchez was found is in Edmonds.

The official cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds, and the manner of death was homicide, the medical examiner ruled.
