Edmonds Man Dies Of Gunshot Wound

The 27-year-old died late Saturday night after being shot once, but it's unclear if the man was a target or shot himself.

EDMONDS, WA - A 27-year-old Edmonds man died Saturday night after he sustained a single gunshot wound. Edmonds detectives are still investigating the death, and it's not clear whether someone else shot him or he shot himself.

Police responded to a home along the 17700 block of 76th Avenue West around 11:30 p.m. Saturday on a report of a shooting. The caller, a resident of the home, said they heard a gunshot come from the upstairs portion of the home.

The man was taken to Haborview Medical Center, which is where he was pronounced dead. Edmonds detectives are still investigating the shooting to find out what happened.
