Edmonds Man Sentenced For Murdering Roommate
Samantha Ellis, 45, was beaten to death in 2016.

EDMONDS, WA - A 64-year-old Edmonds man who beat his roommate to death in 2016 will serve more than 16 years in prison, according to reports.
David Hoar killed Samantha Ellis, 45, in December 2016 at a home along the 8100 block of 236th Street, which is off of Aurora Avenue about a block north of Aurora Marketplace. An autopsy revealed that Ellis had been hit in the head at least five times.
Hoar was found guilty of second-degree murder in early May after a jury trial.
