Edmonds PD Waiting Tables Thursday for Tip-A-Cop Fundraiser
Off-duty officers will be at Claim Jumper in Lynnwood. Tips go to the Special Olympics.
Edmonds Police Department officers are inviting the public to dine at Claim Jumper restaurant at Alderwood Mall Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. as a way of supporting Special Olympics.
Off-duty police officers will be waiting tables as part of the annual Tip-A-Cop fundraising campaign to benefit special athletes. All tips provided to the officers serving meals Thursday evening will go directly to Washington State’s Special Olympics program.
"Everyone is encouraged to come out for a great meal, lots of fun and an opportunity to support a worthwhile cause," said Edmonds PD Sgt. Mike Blackburn. "Our police officers will be donating their off-duty time in hopes of making your dining experience special."
