Edmonds Roundtable to Discuss Economic Development in South County

Economic Alliance Snohomish County will be introduced to local business leaders.

The City of Edmonds, together with the Port of Edmonds, Swedish Edmonds, and the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, will host a roundtable forum next week to discuss economic development in South Snohomish County.

The meeting is May 11 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Plaza Room above the Edmonds Library, 650 Main St.

Troy McClelland, president and CEO of Economic Alliance Snohomish County, will discuss EASC’s vision and what it is working on in the economic development arena.

The goal of the forum is to introduce the EASC to south Snohomish County business leaders and to get feedback and views on what Edmonds and south Snohomish County needs to maximize the economic development potential of the area.

“It is important for Edmonds and South Snohomish County to become a player in the long-term economic health of Snohomish County,” said Edmonds Mayor Dave Earling.
