Gary Gibson, an instructor at Cornish College for the Arts, will take the stage with a jazz trio.
An evening of steel-pan music is in store tonight at 8 at in Edmonds.

He is one of only a handful of musicians successfully incorporating this instrument into more traditional music environments. His advocacy for the steel pan balances a healthy respect for its origins in Trinidad with its instrumental potential well outside its Caribbean identity.
