Edmonds Woman Who Wanted To Be Serial Killer Pleads Guilty
An Edmonds woman accused of attacking a man she met online pleaded guilty to charges of attempted murder.

EVERETT, WA - An Edmonds woman who said she's been plagued by homicidal thoughts since middle school pleaded guilty to charges of attempting to murder a man she met via Craigslist. The Daily Herald reported Amy Caroline Brown, 24, told police she planned to rip the man's heart out and eat it. After meeting the man at a bar, they got a motel room in Lynnwood. There she stabbed him in the chest, resulting in a collapsed lung.
Prosecutors intend to seek an 18-year sentence for the woman, as they say she has shown no remorse. She has said that she intended to murder people until she got caught, referring to prison as her "retirement" plan. Read the full story in The Daily Herald.
