Extra DUI Patrols This Weekend North Of Seattle
The Snohomish County DUI and Target Zero Task force is stepping up patrols Friday night.

EDMONDS, WA - There will be extra DUI patrols around Snohomish County on Friday night thanks to the Snohomish County DUI and Target Zero Task Force. The group says drivers should expect a "large team" of officers out Friday checking for impaired drivers.
The task force was established to reduce traffic deaths to zero by 2030 through a combination of DUI patrols and driver education.
According to the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs, 23,485 people were arrested in the state for DUI in 2015, the most recent year data is available.
