Extra Police At Edmonds-Woodway Today After Threat Scare

Edmonds police were alerted to the potential threat on Wednesday.

EDMONDS, WA - Extra Edmonds police officers will patrol Edmonds-Woodway High School Thursday after police identified a potential threat made on Wednesday.

According to police, someone circulated a photo of a young person with a gun. The image was labeled "Edmonds-Woodway High School," but police determined that the person was someone from out of state.

The extra patrols Thursday are so students, staff, and parents "feel safe."
