Fatal Car Crash On Highway 99 In Lynnwood
The late Monday night collision has blocked two lanes for several hours.

LYNNWOOD, WA - A 29-year-old Lynnwood man is dead after one vehicle sideswiped another car at 11:50 p.m. Monday on Highway 99 near 156th Street SW, according to Washington State Patrol. The other driver in the crash, James Alexander, 52, of Edmonds, was uninjured.
The Lynwood man was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Highway 99 in a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox. Police said that car struck a 1991 Honda Accord that Alexander was driving southbound. Both vehicles hit utility poles.
Two lanes were blocked as emergency personnel were working on the scene. Paris Jackson of KOMO News reported that "a lane or two" was still blocked as of 5:30 a.m.
