Fire Department Responses: Car Strikes Pole at 88th Ave. W and Bowdoin Way

Snohomish County Fire District 1 makes 291 calls the week of Nov. 24-30.

Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 293 calls the week of Nov. 24-30: 241 emergency medical aid calls, 23 motor vehicle collisions, eight fires, six service calls, three gas leaks and 12 automatic fire alarms.

Nov. 24

COLLISION:  At 1:02 p.m., a two-car collision was reported in the 4300 block of 212th Street SW in Mountlake Terrace. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

DRYER FIRE:  At 1:04 p.m., firefighters responded to a small fire at a house in the 3600 block of 206th Place SW north of Brier. The fire was contained to a clothes dryer. One person exposed to smoke was evaluated and treated by medics at the scene.

COLLISION:  At 8:00 a.m., a two-car collision occurred on the ramp to northbound SR-525 from Highway 99 north of Lynnwood. One vehicle stuck the guardrail. The drivers of both cars were injured and transported by firefighters to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

Nov. 26

COLLISION:  At 2:42 p.m., a two-car, low-speed collision was reported at the Home Depot in the 11900 block of Highway 99 south of Everett. Four people suffered minor injuries and were transported by firefighters to Swedish/Mill Creek Emergency Room.

GARAGE FIRE:  At 6:10 p.m., a fire was reported in an attached garage at a house in the 2500 block of 130th Street SE east of Everett. The residents were not at home at the time and no one was injured. The fire was contained to the garage, but smoke damage left the house uninhabitable. Damage is estimated at $85,000. An electrical problem started the fire.

Nov. 27

COLLISION:  At 2:26 p.m., a two-car collision was reported at 164th Street SW and Ash Way north of Lynnwood. The drivers of both vehicles reported injuries and were transported by firefighters to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

Nov. 28

COLLISION:  At 7:28 a.m., a car crashed into a telephone pole in the 21000 block of Damson Road east of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported the driver to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

COLLISION: At 1:12 p.m., a car struck a pole at the intersection of 88th Avenue W and Bowdoin Way in Edmonds. Firefighters transported the driver to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

COLLISION:  At 3:51 p.m., a two-car collision was reported in the 13300 block of Highway 99 north of Lynnwood.  Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

COLLISION:  At 5:34 p.m., a two-car collision was reported at 128th Street SE and 4th Drive SE south of Everett. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Mill Creek Emergency Room.

COLLISION:  At 6:30 p.m., a three-car collision was reported at Highway 99 and Shelby Road north of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported two patients to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

Nov. 29

COLLISION:  At 5:40 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital after responding to a collision in the 2800 block of 164th Street SW  north of Lynnwood.

COLLISION:  At 5:46 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 2900 block of 116th Street SE east of Everett and was transported by firefighters to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
