Gallaghers' Where-U-Brew to Celebrate 1-Year Anniversary at Harbor Square

The brewery was long a fixture at Fifth and Dayton, but is now located at Harbor Square

will celebrate its one-year anniversary at its Harbor Square Business Complex location on Saturday.

There will be beer.

Gallaghers, owned by Dennis Gallagher, was previously located at Fifth Avenue South and Dayton Street downtown.

"We will toast the spectacular success of that year-old event," Gallagher said. "Come join the fun anytime after 4 pm and bring something delicious to share for the potluck."

Although known as a place where you can make your own beer—as well as buy the brewery's own blends—you can also make your own wine. January's vintage is Washington Meritage, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot.

The brewery says this wine features great extract, deep color and intense aromatics of dark berry fruit, cassis, peppery spice, cedar and smoke.

Gallaghers' Where-U-Brew is at 180 W. Dayton St., suite 105 in the Harbor Square Business Complex, Edmonds.
