High Schooler Dies After Fistfight In 'Spook Woods'
The 16-year-old died Monday, according to reports, about a week after he fought another student in the woods behind a school.

MARYSVILLE, WA - A 16-year-old boy died on Monday, one week after he squared off with another teen during a fistfight in Spook Woods. The two teens decided to "settle differences" with a fight, according to the Everett Daily Herald.
The fight happened Aug. 19 in Spook Woods, which is a wooded area with BMX trails near Pinewood Elementary School. The fight occurred around 4 p.m., according to the Daily Herald, and the fire department responded to the area that day on a report of someone who was knocked down.
The 16-year-old was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett,which is where he died. Marysville police have not yet made any arrests in the case.
