Hit-And-Run On Highway 99 In Edmonds: Police
The hit-and-run driver fled downtown Edmonds and ended up getting arrested in Shoreline.

EDMONDS, WA - Police from three different departments helped nab a hit-and-run driver Thursday afternoon. Edmonds police first encountered the 27-year-old in downtown Edmonds, but that's when he decided to flee.
Edmonds police did not chase the man. He made it to Highway 99, where an off-duty Seattle police officer began to follow him.
Moments later, the man crashed near the intersection of Highway 99 and 244th Street, close to the SR 102 interchange. The driver fled the scene of the accident and headed south - and that's where a Shoreline police officer found and arrested him.
