Human Remains Found In Edmonds Identified As 38-Year-Old City Man
The medical examiner has identified remains found earlier this week as belonging to Nicholas Bowen, 38.

EDMONDS, WA - The remains found last Saturday in Edmonds have been identified as belonging to Nicholas A. Bowen, 38, of Edmonds. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's office has not determined a cause and manner of death, however. The remains were discovered in a stream around 9 p.m. by two people exploring a wooded area off of Picnic Point Road near Picnic Point Elementary.
Bowen was found near the 7200 block of Picnic Point, where there is a dense greenbelt between several residential areas. Detectives from the Snohomish County Sheriff's major crimes unit are investigating the case. Police believe Bowen's remains were in the woods "for some time."
