Human Remains Found In Edmonds: Police
The remains were found in a wooded area on Saturday, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.

EDMONDS, WA - Human remains were discovered in Edmonds on Saturday. Two people exploring a wooded area off of Picnic Point Road near Picnic Point Elementary when they came across the remains in a stream. Police have not yet been able to identify the person who was found.
The remains were found along the 7200 block of Picnic Point, where there is a dense greenbelt between several residential areas. Detectives from the Snohomish County Sheriff's major crimes unit are investigating the case. Police believe the remains were in the woods "for some time."
The county medical examiner will handle investigation of the remains and identifying the person. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
