Last Edmonds Mural of 2012 Shows a Welcome Winter Scene

Susan Babcock says she will finish her "Winter Walk" mural in Edmonds by Tuesday.
Edmonds being Edmonds, though, she'll have plenty of breaks as residents of the friendliest town in Puget Sound stop by to say hello and comment on her work.
It's fine with Babcock, who clearly enjoys the company. She lives in Edmonds, after all.

The mural is going up at 104 Fifth Ave. N. on the wall of , in the alley south of the . It features visitors on the Edmonds fishing pier, snowflakes, Native American canoes and the steam ferry Shasta, which made its last visit to Edmonds in 1969.
The mural is the third one of the summer.
