Lynnwood Honda Celebrating 30th Anniversary

The family owned car dealership in Edmonds has sold more than 73,000 new and used cars.

In recognition of its 30th anniversary, is having a number of promotions and special events.

  • A 1981 Honda Civic DX 1500 has been purchased and is on display in the showroom. This Civic is in remarkably good shape and has only 22,866 original miles.
  • For every car sold in the month of November, at the Swedish-Edmonds Hospital Child Birthing Center.

Lynnwood Honda President Fred Nelson and his children are continuing a family tradition of automotive sales. Fred’s father, Stanley Nelson Sr., started Nelson Chevrolet in Ballard in 1922. Fred has been in the business since 1935, while his children Erik Nelson and Wendy Nelson Popke joined the Lynnwood Honda team in 1984.

In its 30 years, Lynnwood Honda has sold more than 73,000 new and used cars, trucks and SUVs. A number of promotions and special events have been organized to express their appreciation for three decades of loyal customers.

By the way, the original location of the dealership was in Lynnwood. When the owners moved to Edmonds, their name was pretty well known so they didn’t want to start over with a new one.
