Apparent Gun Homicide In Edmonds Residential Neighborhood: Update
Neighbors reported hearing gunshots, and Snohomish County Sheriff's deputies found the man dead in a car.

EDMONDS, WA - A man was shot and died late Monday night along the 15900 block of 56th Avenue W, according to reports. As of Tuesday afternoon, officials had not been able to determine the victim's identity or place of residence.
Neighbors in the Meadowdale neighborhood called 911 at 10:56 p.m. to report gunshots. Authorities arrived and found the man dead inside his car, which was up on someone's property. The homicide technically happened in unincorporated Snohomish County, although the property where the man was found has an Edmonds mailing address.
The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office has not released a suspect description yet, but anyone with information about the shooting should contact them on their tip line at 425-388-3845. Sheriff's deputies conducted a search of the neighborhood with K9 dogs following the discovery of the body.
