Man Pinned By Box Truck At Local Storage Facility

The incident happened Tuesday afternoon at a storage facility in unincorporated Snohomish County.

LYNNWOOD, WA - A 26-year-old man was critically injured Tuesday when he was pinned against a building by a box truck. The incident happened just before 2 p.m. at a storage facility along Alderwood Mall Parkway in unincorporated Snohomish County, according to the sheriff's office.

The sheriff's office said the Federal Way man was pinned between the side of the storage building and the box truck, but it's unclear how the truck got into that position.

The victim's coworkers were able to move the van. The victim was taken to Harborivew Medical Center in Seattle for what were described as life-threatening injuries.

The incident happened along Alderwood Mall Parkway south of 164th Street Southwest. Sheriff's office investigators were on scene Tuesday afternoon investigating what caused the crash.
